What is a Registered Dietitian?
A registered dietitian nutritionist is someone who translates the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living. As your personal dietitian, I'll give you the tools and knowledge you need to make informed choices when it comes to food. As I guide you on your nutrition journey, you'll gain confidence while living your healthiest, fullest life.
Will my health insurance cover Registered Dietitian services?
Yes. I currently accept United Health Care Empire Plan and Aetna. if your insurance has out of network benefits, I will provide you with detailed monthly receipts that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company for their policy. Payments are due at each session.
What forms of payment does Nutrition by Neron take?
I accept cash as well as any electronic payment (Venmo, PayPal).
How much are your services?
Initial Assessment (60 minutes): $200. Prior to the visit, you will be asked to fill out assessment forms that you will bring to our first session. We will discuss your goals and begin to develop a realistic plan to meet these goals.
Follow-up visits or phone sessions (30 minutes): $150 per session. Book 6 follow-up visits/phone sessions in advance and get a 10% discount.
Supermarket tours (for up to 4 people): $460. I'll accompany you and up to three others on a guided tour of your local supermarket and take the guesswork out of selecting healthful foods. You will learn how to read labels (nutritional content, ingredients), compare/contrast food choices in order to make informed decisions for you and your family.
Restaurant menu assessment: $25 per inquiry. Date night? Work dinner? Dining out with friends? Restaurants are often challenging for those looking to eat healthy. The good news is that many restaurants have online menus so I can help you make your food decisions ahead of time. You can know before you go. No online menu? No problem. Simply text me a photo of the menu when you arrive and I can help you decide how to approach the evening.
Text messaging packages are also available. Call for additional information. Clients often benefit from having immediate access to my services when dealing with setbacks or when they need instant feedback.
Do you offer telehealth sessions?
Yes, I offer telehealth sessions to clients within New York State, Florida, and states with reciprocal license agreement.

Yes, comprehensive meal plans are offered and are tailored to your specific dietary needs/goals.
